Southern Miss relies on the support of the community to build a successful Athletic Department and Football program. This comes in the form of sponsorships, Eagle Club memberships, and Season Tickets. Southern Miss is emphasizing the importance the community across Southern Mississippi plays in the success of the University. A successful and vibrant University is crucial to the economy from Jackson, throughout the Pine Belt, and to the Coast. To celebrate this relationship, Southern Miss has launched the Unite Hardy Street program. This program offers discounted season tickets and group tickets to any business to encourage support of Southern Miss. Season tickets and group tickets are a great benefit for employees, clients, and customers. While it's open to all businesses, Hardy Street serves as the most visible intersection between the University Community and the Business Community. Letter from Head Football Coach Jay Hopson:

Dear Hardy Street Business,

While all of my years of coaching have taken me all over the country, I feel fortunate that I have been able to be a part of Southern Miss and this community. Hattiesburg is one of the most unique and special places that I have been and I am lucky to call it home.

Hattiesburg and the Pine Belt region are interconnected. From Southern Miss, to William Carey, to the Medical Community, and Camp Shelby, these entities all rely on one another to attract talent, businesses, and stimulate the economy.

I’ve said this many times and will continue to stress how much of what we are and what we are able to accomplish is because of the passion and community support around our program. From the recruiting advantage that Eagle Walk provides when recruits can see the passion and excitement on game day, to the energy that the team pulls from the crowd during the game. The continued support of our community is a vital part of our success.

I’m asking for you today to continue your support of the Southern Miss football program and take it to the next level by directly supporting our program with Season Tickets. Your commitment supports our program competitively and financially. A successful football program brings over 20,000 people into Hattiesburg on six Saturdays each fall and help bring attention and grow enrollment for the University, which brings more students into Hattiesburg year round.

I have launched a small business ticket package and hope you will choose to support us with either a $250 Eagle package or a $500 Gold package. Each package includes two season tickets and group tickets for a single game. Season tickets are great for employees, clients, or customers. Even if you don’t have a use for Season Tickets, you could donate them to our Seats for Soldiers program to allow military personnel to attend a game.

Hattiesburg is home for me and I want to do everything in my power to make it great. I’m asking for your investment and support so we can continue to take Southern Miss To The Top. I can’t tell you how excited I am for next season and I hope you will be a part of it.
