Southern Miss Athletics is celebrating teachers throughout South Mississippi on Saturday, September 8th for the football game against Louisiana-Monroe. To celebrate, Southern Miss is recognizing teachers of the year from schools around the country and offering a discounted group rate to teachers and school personnel.Tickets can be purchased by contacting the Southern Miss Ticket Office at 1-800-844-TICK and asking for the Extra Yard for Teachers offer. Upper level tickets are just $10 and lower level tickets are $20. Any school that purchases tickets will be recognized on the video board. Any school or group that purchases more than 50 tickets will have the opportunity to take a picture on the field before the game. To nominate the teacher of the year from your school to be recognized on field, please contact Murray Littlepage.
