New Episode of the Inside Southern Miss Athletics Podcast Debuts

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – A new episode of the Inside Southern Miss Athletics podcast, powered by Learfield, premieres Wednesday, August 17.
The free podcast includes the Voice of the Golden Eagles, John Cox, as he conducts various interviews with former and current Southern Miss student-athletes, Athletic Department personnel and other special guests weekly.
This Week on Inside Southern Miss Athletics Cox, is joined by Director of Athletics Jeremy McClain and discusses the loss of former Golden Eagle baseball player and Coach Corky Palmer, who passed away last week at the age of 68. Cox is also joined by several former Golden Eagle baseball players who pay tribute to Coach Palmer with their thoughts about what he meant to them. Former Golden Eagle standout and now assistant football coach Chad Williams also joins the show and talks about his career and coaching the cornerbacks.
