New Episode of the Inside Southern Miss Athletics Podcast Debuts

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – A new episode of the Inside Southern Miss Athletics podcast, powered by Learfield, premieres Wednesday, July 6.
The free podcast includes the Voice of the Golden Eagles, John Cox, as he conducts various interviews with former and current Southern Miss student-athletes, Athletic Department personnel and other special guests weekly.
On Inside Southern Miss Athletics this week, Cox visits with Athletic Director Jeremy McClain and talks about now being a member of the Sun Belt Conference and some of the preparations that are already underway for the start of the new athletic year. The athletic department's assistant athletic director for compliance, Leah Brundidge, talks about several things that are going on this summer around Southern Miss and the NCAA, while new Golden Eagle assistant basketball coach Nick Williams talks about his career and joining Coach Jay Ladner's staff.
