Football Enjoys Spring Practice No. 5 Thursday
3/4/2021
HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Following a postponement of practice earlier in the week due to inclement weather, the Southern Miss football team worked out on back-to-back days for the first time this spring as the Golden Eagles enjoyed their fifth practice session Thursday morning on the game field in The Rock.
Southern Miss enjoyed another day in pads as they continued to install their systems for the 2021 season and continue to prepare for its season opener Sept. 4 at South Alabama.
The Golden Eagles' two hour practice was again greeted with a perfect March day without a cloud in the sky and Wil Hall's squad enjoyed another spirited up tempo practice.
Southern Miss will return to the practice field Saturday morning to complete its second week of spring drills.
Following today's practice, assistant coach Chad Williams, junior defensive back Natrone Brooks (Starkville, Miss..) and junior wide receiver Jason Brownlee (West Point, Miss.) met with the media. Their interviews are below:
