Football Finished Third Week of Practice Saturday Morning

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – It was back to work for the Southern Miss football team as they returned to the game field at The Rock Saturday to complete their ninth practice session of the spring.
In full pads, the Golden Eagles went through a two-hour plus workout as they conintue their preparations for the 2021 season opener, Saturday, Sept. 4, at South Alabama, under first-year coach Will Hall.
The Golden Eagles now have three weeks into installing their offense, defense and special teams. The have six practices left with the culmination set for Saturday, March 27 and the team's annual spring game.
Following today's session, Hall along with offensive lineman Khalique Washington and linebacker Averie Habas met with the media.
