Football Goes Through Practice No. 8 Thursday Morning

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss went back to shorts and shoulder pads for practice No. 8 Thursday morning in a different venue.

It was the first practice session conducted this spring at the Joe P. Park Practice Facility as the team used both fields to get in both individual and team periods in the two-plus hour practice.

Under first year coach Will Hall, the Golden Eagles look to get ready for the 2021 season and its opener set for Sept. 4 at South Alabama.

Southern Miss returns to the practice field Saturday morning as they finish up their third week of drills.

Following today's session, defensive line coach Brandon Lacy, wide receiver Da'Quan Bailey-Brown and defensive lineman Eriq Kitchen met with the media.
