Suesanna Williams Named Southern Miss Student-Athlete of the Week

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Suesanna Williams, a senior from Kingston, Jamaica, is the Southern Miss Student-Athlete of the Week.
Williams captured the women's weight throw title at the 2009 Conference USA Indoor Track and Field Championship last weekend in Houston. She earned her first indoor title of her career with a school-record throw of 56-feet, 3.75-inches.
She also placed ninth in the shot put with a throw of 43-feet, 1.75-inches. This is her first USM student-athlete honor of the season.
