Amanda Blunck Named Southern Miss Student Athlete of the Week

Blunck made her first two starts against Tulsa and SMU, finishing the week with 44 digs for a 4.40 per game average. She recorded double-digit digs in all three matches, including a season-high 17 against UNO. Blunck also chipped in 18 kills during the week, including eight in the win against SMU on Sunday.

She totaled five aces, six blocks and 26.5 points and is closing in on 1,000 career digs, currently having 980 in her four-year career. Blunck also was named Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week.
