Petrinec helped the Lady Eagles to their first wins of the season against Louisiana-Lafayette and Southeastern Louisiana, finishing the tournament with 39 kills (3.25 kpg) and 33 digs (2.75 dpg), while hitting .206. Petrinec also was named to the Capital One Classic All-Tournament Team, along with teammate Maia Ivanova.
