Alumni Association to Host Eagle Landing in Gainesville

Southern Miss fans are invited to the join the Alumni Association in support of the Golden Eagle football team when they play their season-opening game at Florida on Saturday, Sept. 2.
That afternoon, the Association will host an Eagle Landing tailgating event. The party, which begins at 3:30 p.m. EST, will be located in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center on the University of Florida campus across the street from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
For a nominal charge of $5, Eagle fans can enjoy a barbeque meal prior to kickoff, scheduled for 6 p.m. EST. The Alumni Association recommends that fans park and then walk to the Eagle Landing site before entering the stadium. A second Eagle Landing is scheduled for the Southern Miss / Tulane contest on Nov. 11. The events are sponsored by Shadow Ridge Golf Club.
