Women?s Cross Country Team Wraps Up Season

? Southern Miss women?s cross country team wrapped up its cross country season, competing in the NCAA South DI Regional Saturday.

The Lady Eagles finished 17^th with 416 points. The University of Tennessee claimed the team title, scoring 71 points with three runners finishing in the top 10.

Cassandra Goodson was the top finisher for the Lady Eagles, crossing the finish line 55^th overall with a time of 22:35.91. Lydiah Chepkwony was 62^nd overall with a time of 22:40.16, followed by Becca Wiseman (91^st) with a time of 23:28.50, Keri White was 97^th with a time of 23:37.41, Alisha Edwads was 111^th with a time of 23:57.59, Karen Tankersley was 122^nd with a time of 24:10.24 and Liz Palmer was 136^th with a time of 24:38.68.
