Today?s Conference USA Baseball Tournament Championship Game Cancelled

HATTIESBURG, Miss.? Due to inclement weather, today?s Conference USA Baseball Tournament Championship game between Tulane and TCU was cancelled. This marks the first time in Conference USA history that a championship game in any sport was unable to be completed due to weather-related issues.

Tulane and TCU were declared co-tournament champions, while the Green Wave earn the league?s automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament, because of their No. 1 seeding.

For Tulane, this is its fifth C-USA tournament title, as the Green Wave also won tourney championships in 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2001. It marks TCU?s second consecutive Conference USA baseball tournament championship.
