McDowell Joins Southern Miss Staff
McDowell comes to Southern Miss from the
?I?m extremely excited about coming to a program like Southern Miss,? McDowell said. ?They have a very competitive athletic program. Though it?s hard to leave Louisiana-Monroe, this is a great opportunity that I could not pass up and one that I am very excited about.?
Prior to his tenure at Louisiana-Monroe, he served as the Assistant Director of Video Operations at The University of Colorado. McDowell also served as the Director of Video Operations at Louisiana-Monroe from 1998-2000. While there, he was awarded the Independent Video Coordinator of the Year award in 2000. He also served as Video Coordinator at
McDowell and his wife Misty have one son, Dakota.
