Eubanks was tabbed a preseason second-team All-American and was ranked as the No. 3 defensive back in the nation and No. 18 return specialist in the nation. He was also selected as Conference
In 2004, Eubanks earned first team All-Conference USA honors as a defensive back, and was selected as Conference
The Mound Bayou, Miss., native also had 21 kickoff returns for 618 yards, for a 29.4 yard per return average, including one touchdown, a 97-yard return against Houston. He also had 21 punt returns for 161 yards, for a 7.7 yard per return average, including a long return of 51 yards.
In 2004, McCaleb make 16 of 19 field goals and 27 of 31 extra point attempts, in earning second team All-Conference USA honors, and was selected honorable mention All-American by SI.com.
Southern Miss opens its football season Sunday, Sept. 4, hosting Tulane in a 3 p.m., contest, which will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
