Football Beats Rain to Get Another Workout Before Super Saturday
3/25/2021

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss football team beat the rain with its Thursday morning practice on the game field at The Rock.
Earlier in the week, it looked as if the Golden Eagles would not get to workout due to expected bad weather, but instead the squad got in its 14th workout of the spring and the final one prior to Saturday's finale which will be the Black and Gold Scrimmage.
The team practiced just under two hours in full pads as they continue the installation of its system in all three phases of the game in preparation for the 2021 season and the opener, Saturday, Sept. 4 at South Alabama.
For the scrimmage as part of Super Saturday, admission is free and fans are asked to enter the grandstand on the West Side only. Parking will be open around the football stadium that day, while concessions will also be available in the stadium.
Fans can also use this time to buy or renew season tickets. Southern Miss Athletics ticket representatives will be available at gates 1 and 3 at The Rock to help with individual ticket needs for the 2021 home season.
Coach Hall's addressed the media following practice this morning below and let everyone know what to expect this Saturday with his final question:
