Football Starts Fourth Week of Spring Practice

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The start of the fourth week of football practice took place Tuesday morning for Southern Miss as workout No. 10 went two and a half hours on the game field at The Rock.

Once again, the Golden Eagles donned full pads and used the session to continue to install its three phases for next season and the season opener, Saturday, Sept. 4, at South Alabama.

The Golden Eagles finished the workout by going live and enjoying some scripted scrimmage action.

Following practice, defensive back Malik Shortz, running back coach Jordy Joseph and running back Darius Maberry sat down with the media via Zoom to discuss how spring practice is going.
